Edit: the miyadeguchi clan were shrine maidens/priests of the hakurei shrine before gensokyo was created. No Idea how reimu is related to them but it does mean mizuchi was a shrine maiden or at least implied to be one

my goodness! this just got too good, at least we finally have a real piece of information about the Hakurei's past (and Miyadeguchi past), I hope more is revealed and that it doesn't come to nothing.
