If you google 'belly dancer outfit' on google you'd find a lot of similar costumes with this one, albeit less skimpy.

If you think this character didn't borrow from Manya and Menia from dragon quest, think again.
If you google "Manya" or "Menia" you'll quickly see the characters share a striking resemblance. Same skin color, same hair color, similar eye color, albeit lighter.
