The bug one is actually Toriyama's favourite form and, maybe because of that, often a favourite amongst the hardcore fans. The other two Cells only exist because his editor made him keep redesigning Cell. Then again, the first Cell only exists because his editor didn't like #19 and #20 so made him draw more "androids"; he then drew #17 and #18 which the editor also didn't like, so Cell was created.

this is cool, if by a miricle dragonball gets another live action movie that actually stays closer to the manga they should use these designs they might actually work

Wow. You'd think that being who he is, he could've gotten away with just saying "I'm Akira FUCKING Toriyama, I'll do it how I want!" I mean it's not like they'd dare to fire him, that would've been like Nintendo firing Miyamoto.
