Nah, you can tell it's a drawing from the imperfections on the fork and the foil next to the grapefruit.

Gold leaf couldn't hold up its own weight like that, and the foil is too thick.

Gold leaf is REAL thin.

I chock this up to a photograph that's been "naturally edited," i.e. wax applied to the fruit and extreme lighting. That was a common thing, back during the days of still-life fruit photography, as I remember.

This is what usatan does. He draws photos to be realistic.
