but is somehow close to Yuka x yukari though..its also kinda sad,sometimes I wonder what will become of the Youkais(Yuuka,Yukari,Alice,even Remilia..) once their human "partner" passed away..kinda sad if I try to think about it..

Indeed well the common fan view is Alice will either try to kill herself or become more reclusive than ever. Soul crushing depression pool has a few of Remilia's anguish but this is the first I am seeing one with Yukari being so livid in her reaction and emotion, only time I have seen it is when it was with Yuyuko. But this is indeed sad but the last panel for some reason its either Yuuka's presence or what she say that sort of make me feel alittle better.

Alice: Marisa does NOT plan on dying. She's trying to become a Youkai Magician. ZUN has even said this will happen at some point in the future.
Yukari: For Reimu, she would likely bend the border of mortality no matter how much the miko protested. Ran is eventually going to attain godhood as a Tenko Kitsune so she's definitely not going anywhere.
Remilia: Lunarian or not, Sakuya SHOULD be able to control her own aging.
Yuka: Wriggle's a youkai herself so she's not going anywhere soon.
And for fun...
Yuyuko: Youmu will simply become a full ghost upon death, and continue her service to her beloved mistress forever. She is one soul Komachi will NEVER get to ferry over the Sanzu.

Considering the previous time Yukari's friend died she altered her border of life to ensure that she could NEVER cross the Sanzu River and stay with her forever beyond death, either Reimu threatened her into not doing it or somehow, someway, Yukari has managed to become less selfish.

The writer probably simply forget about that, though.

Reimu could just fly away from aging and death like she's able to fly away from any other problem. Sanae could eventually achieve full apotheosis.

i would like to clear something up.

about sakuya's issues i think sakuya has some hidden story of her and the shinigamis remember in hisoutensoku sakuya asked komachi if she's going to reap her, komachi answered no and sakuya said "is it because of my ..." komachi interrupted her and said she's only a ferry so she can't reap souls. it's possible she can die but because of the issues there a speculations that she is cursed/granted immortality by how and why? is yet to be revealed.

For any of our super powered characters that are short lived. They can always take the Tenshi route. Simply refuse to go with the Shinigamis. Tenshi is actually suppposed to be dead, but since she refuses to cross the Sanzru river, the Shinigamis have taken it into their own hands to force her there. Only Tenshi fights back every time they send someone.
