The artist corrected them saying Bridget is a cute boy and the activist went ham on the artist. The artist probably got harassed even further but we won't ever really know, maybe the activists went over their pixiv account and that's why they also closed it as well.
I saw people who call Naoto Shirogane and Chihiro Fujisaki trans personas. This problem also include tomboys. Someone wrote an article where Seishirou Tsugumi(Nisekoi) a trans too. Western people, you scare me, for most of the jp community he is still otoko no ko. Maybe the problem lies in the difference in perception or inaccuracy of localisation. I sincerely ask you to stop chase jp artists. Support them and defend from these attack
These extremists really need to go, especially over a fictional character, ruining someone's life, because you disagree over a game character's art piece, is just all kinds of wrong.
Someone need to tell the artist that people love his/her art. The people that been harassing him/her are just crazy people and shouldn't be paid no mind. If you're reading, remember that those people harassing you are just crazy people.
Geez this wasn't like this several years ago and although I'm happy to see this game and seeing the characters I well know. Things like this are like a damn annoying, especially those "minority extremist" who are just toxic.

Nobody's life was ruined. The artist got corrected and cried harassment over it

Except, nobody is assuming anything. The creator of the character said so as much in two languages. One of those being English. Just because you disagree with the creator's decision, it doesn't mean that you somehow get to supersede their creative choices. Just like pretending that a polite factual correction counts as "harassment" doesn't make it any actual harassment.
