"Banshee found a NHP in hiding and melded with it; her cybernetics, body and mind couldn't handle the sudden overload and the "haunting" NHP, named The Morrigan, had to be removed via surgery. If you zoom in on Banshee's eye, you can see it taking the form of a bird."

For context: Banshee is the character undergoing surgery, and NHPs are kind of a weird math demon/bizarre eldritch AI.
