It means weapon efficiency, not stats, not skills and definitely not an overall effectiveness in that role, that should be painfully obvious if you ever played the game actually.

With those multipliers even if you equip a T0 gear she'll still fall behind ships like Hood.

"Translates to the tier of a shipfu" Damn, didn't know the Ning/Ping Hai + Yat Sen combo sucked because of their woefully inadequate stats. Sure stats matter, but if the ship has skills that improve their stats/have special characteristics, stats may not play such a big role

Hood and Repulse both have A grades in FP, while Renown has an S. Renown and Repulse have 135% main gun efficiency, Hood as 140%. Hood has the lowest FP of the three, Renown the highest.

One of those three still sees use today, the other two are considered unreedemable garbage and have never seen use outside of waifu fleets once you have literally anything else. Grades mean fuck all for overall performance, and have never been worth taking seriously. We won't know how good she really is until she releases.

For another comparison, after retrofit Z23, Javelin, and Ayanami have D grades in HP, while Laffey has a C. Z23 has the highest HP of the group.

Ayanami has better torpedoes, Laffy has better fire power and evasion, Javelin is the middle of the road not great or horrible at anything, and Z23 has better HP and defense with a shielding skill, which befits an Ironblood ship.

Uhh, and? What does that have to do with what I said? We're talking about performance letter grades and their uselessness as a metric for determining a ship's actual performance. Javelin has the lowest HP stat of the starters, Z23 has the highest, and yet they both have a D grade in HP, while Laffey, with the second highest HP, has a C.

I was mildly curious at first as to how she would be implemented.
After finding out she takes a submarine slot and has a runaway skill combined with huge heal, I'm now looking up my options for building a second sub fleet.
Musashi's banner didn't motivate me this hard for the game.
