He was the one who had the mask of light but was killed by the children of Makuta if my memory serves me right (which is unlikely)
Pretty sure it was his best buddy that got killed? Then he put on the mask and fused with Terimax(Teridax?) or whatever Makuta's full name was to use their combined powers to bring his buddy back to life.

Goodness, almost forgot how deep and extensive the Bionicle lore was. I swear it's deeper than both the Ninjago and Hololive lore combined... I should probably go rewatch Ninjago now, god I loved that show.
