Well Super Sonic WAS based off of Super Saiyan Son-Goku after all..

I'm pretty damn sure Super sonic came before SSJ goku. Unless someone here wants to give us the exact dates.

Dragon Ball Chapter 317 featured the first SSJ transformation ever, dating back to somewhere between March and June 1991.
    Sonic the Hedgehog 2: November 21, 1992.

    Blub.

well then i stand correct. Still, since those 2 dates are pretty close to each other, it'd be normal to dispute who came first.

I wouldn't call more than a whole year close, especially considering that Sonic 1 was released June 23rd 1991.
They had plenty of time to incorporate Super Sonic into the sequel.
