For getting translations checked, use the check_translation tag instead. For names, if you don't know what exactly it is, try running a Google search and see which is more common, or use something like http://nihongo.j-talk.com/kanji/.

Kinoshita is the usual way that's read, yes.

However, you misread the ツ　in the first panel as a シ. It's a smaller-size ツ, also, even if that's difficult to discern at that text size. So, that sfx would be バッ, not　バシ.
