What I called a "tea grinder" is actually a "cha-usu," a grinder with a very specific make, shown with a cutaway diagram at the bottom of this page. The lower half has a shaft of wood sticking up out of it, and the detachable upper half has a hole in the middle that you thread through the shaft.
