In fantasy worlds as the size of a creature goes up, so does their magic supply, and the amount of magic in them lightens the load. That's why dragons can fly. They're actually a lot lighter than their size would dictate.

Usually the bigger they are the less strength they have relative to their body weight, so they could have less overall density but still be stronger than smaller beings if their total weight is still higher.
