why is Vanilla/Yang getting famous? Not that I can complain, they look good together, but just wondering

They're getting canon because they are canon. Duh.

I am more of a Lightning/Vanille fan,but I don't care as long as there is some yuri.

My guess is cause they are from the same village and clan as Fang. Plus both characters are much older than they appear. Vanille 519 years, Fang 521 years.
