It's a thing in the Japanese fanbase. Usually pops up in the comments when an artist draws a bunch of big-eared umas together.

Presumably it's the bunny connection (long ears = bunny). Then again people will inevitably make that joke anyway whenever someone draws several girls together with a shared standout trait.
