Haha, I actually buy this brand of noodles pretty regularly. The fried tofu comes in red bowls and the tempura comes in green bowls.

Actually, I only get the fried tofu. This is exactly how I feel, it kind of sucks when the tempura crumbles into the soup and gets soggy.

The moral of this story:
Do not eat cup-noodles with tempura. It's disgusting, anyway, eating soggy food.

WAHa - yep pretty much. I've had it myself and I felt exactly how Sanae feels. Now, Aburaage on the other hand is perfect soggy or dry. It's delicious sucking the soup soaked aburaage which is what most Kitsune are depicted doing in most pictures...or just looking cute with it hanging out their mouths. Come to think of it, I'm surprised Ran isn't there to partake in Reimu's lunch. :-3

Just to expand on what Graph and Rathurue are saying, what Sanae is eating is Tanuki Soba. Buckwheat noodles and tempura is called Tanuki-style. I can see the theme of Kitsune and Tanuki since they are both shapeshifting trickster yokai. However in this picture, it's most likely contrasting with the color schemes of the characters themselves and the cup noodle packages.
