We need to see 11 and 12 to find out if Meiling was sleeping or beaten. Since i see fire behind Youki I am going to assume Meiling but up a honorable fight to the end(KO).

Perhaps they actually had fought longer than that, and then Meiling was knocked out by a single direct hit.

Youki have more fighting skill's than Youmu about 3 to 4 times
so don't understimate him.

Maybe also a reference to the player's one-hit-wonder status in the games. Maybe the Gameplay mechanics tag could be considered?

Now that I think about it... what the HELL did Meiling know that she came so close to beating Youki (unless he's employing exaggerated kindness in his judgment)? Missed moment of awesome will be missed...
