Close, the second line is “kekkon no you da ne” - with “kekkon” referring to marriage and “you” being a declaration of intent or a “plan” of some kind, it basically translates to “they got engaged”. I’m not fluent yet, but it’s fun to find out what you can pick up in a short time.
