I think I heard a while back that an art commissioner is free to repost the commissioned work where ever they wish. I have quite a few high res variants of past commissions I would like to upload but the artists have also posted them to their Fanbox or Fantia and I worry about cheating them out of hard earned money. I don't know if the artists would raise a complaint or worse refuse to accept any more requests from me. Also Danbooru already gets the stink eye from artists due to the AI situation.

The only artist I don't see any trouble with for reposting my commissions is Kannazuki Genshi as he never seems to post the works anywhere else.

Just my opinion, but...

If it's a commission, then they've already been paid for it in advance; it shouldn't even be behind a paywall to begin with. Taking money for a commission and paywalling it for everyone else is just double-dipping at that point. I wouldn't feel bad about it at all.

Exactly opposite - at least for skeb and, maybe, pixiv requests as well: all rights to the work belong to the creator, unless stated otherwise.

The same applies here. For the so called "personal commissions" on aforementioned platforms, better think of them as requests with monetary tip, for which you later get a thank-you gift. There's nothing wrong about creators using their clients' ideas as their own.
