While it is a warm and all that, it could be a bad ending for the main character. He already has problems keeping them around with his wages, and now they are up-ed to human size, that means more food consumption. And let's hope he is not the usual guy who rents a house, or a visit from the landlady would be trouble...

Ho, I'm asking why did they have to go human? I thought they were getting shots like a normal cat, not because the guy wanted them to be human. When he was talking to the pet shop girl, they were talking about normal cat food and toys, so I assume that pets turning human aren't a normal thing in this world.

As for his financial situation, they're human now, so they can work. And I wonder how people will react to this situation... three girls just randomly appear in this guy's house.

I'm just worried about if their brain are still capped at cat-capacity, though they did seem a bit more cognizant than one might expect a cat to be.

He is truly a genuinely good person. That is a rare thing indeed. I give him my full respect (even more rare).

You all might be cool with this twist ending, and all, but I for one would rue the day this happened to MY cat! For starters, due to all the horny male cats, we got her fixed! And the fucking vets totally botched it be still leaving a chunk of ovarie in there, causing her extreme pain everytime mating season rolls around! And there's the time she got stuck behind the water heater, and almost died, the time my grandpa was supposed to be catsitting while we were in california, be he instead lost her for three days...
