Around this time BA leakers always managed to leak some new characters long before their event was announced to the public. This kept happening until the 3rd anniversary, in which the leakers managed to get a hold of Dress Ako, Ibuki and Makoto ahead of the livestream, but if I recall correctly, not Dress Hina, the real 3rd anni fes character, causing incorrect speculation of Makoto being the 3rd anni fes which is not the case. This was the time when people tought non-swimsuit alts cannot be the fes and Dress Hina changed that.
Nothing like this has happened since and I assume that Yostar managed to get the wind of that leak, taking actions to prevent leaks ahead of time from happening ever again. Dataminers still manage to get students ahead of time in each BA JP update, but never to the extent of leaking new students in the next update cycle (four weeks or five weeks after a BA JP update every month).
