Sakumo Week: Day 2: Team

Yes I’m still going, bear with me, I have about 2 more pieces planned, but I had some irl stuff come up so I don’t know how much I’ll actually be able to finish…

Anyways, this was done for Sakumo Week organised by @sakumoweek

Okay, so for a while I’ve been headcanoning that Koharu was actually Sakumo’s genin sensei, based on like one?? episode in Naruto Part I where Jiraya called Koharu “sensei” but not Homura, and we know how the kids call eachother’s team leaders “Sensei” all the same, so that implied to me that Koharu was actually a Jounin sensei at some point.

I also made him teammates with Kohari, Iruka’s Mom, because on my timeline they’re actually about the same age, and funnily enough as I was drawing this, I realised I accidentally made them Second Cousins as well, because I hc Sakumo to be Tobirama’s Grandson and Kohari to be Hashirama’s Granddaughter
So I guess Koharu gets not just one, but TWO Hokage Grandkids on her team, HA take that Hiruzen!

And for last but not least I put Dan on their team who’s about 3 years younger than them, but he’s somewhat of a prodigy so it works out! Special thanks to @kalira for the idea!
