Since this deviation got some replies, I thought I'd leave some comments on it.

One of my hobbies is to try to reproduce the art on Pokemon cards. I play the Pokemon TCG a lot, and I am taken away by how beautiful these cards are. One of the cards with great artwork is a card from the Team Rocket Returns set, Dark Tyranitar.

I don't remember my initial thoughts when I first started making this, because I made this years ago, but I remember putting down a few bold colors and really liking the simplicity of what I had done. I am a big fan of hard white and black imagery, that can produce cool illusions, and this kind of reminded me of that.

I look at it now and still love it. One of my favorite creations.
