1) I've heard that the Galil ACE's top rail has some harmonics issues that make it less than suitable for zero retention of any mounted optics. I've no knowledge whether they may have fixed the issue in more recent production.
2) Putting the offset red dot in that location is likely to interfere with you being able to roll your LPVO to maximum magnification.
3) I question the wisdom of mounting LPVOs on short carbines.
