Him being in the picture does not mean he will be playable. It simply means he will appear in cutscenes. The series has no playable male characters.

Looking at NIKKE's previous collab with Chainsaw Man, I don't think it would be the case. post #6602902 should give you the idea who's going to be playable.

I'm sure Pascal isn't going to be playable though, despite what some websites claim, and most of them clearly know very little about the series. One website claims you can obtain exclusive weapons, despite collectible weapons not being a thing at all. Another site calls the series a controversial X-rated game. What...?

It wasn't. So only two characters depicted are playable. (At least from what I know)
I've never played Nier either.

Edit: Wait, Pascal is going to be playable as the SR (purple) character. Then I realize that according to the recent leaks, we're going to get a non-humanoid NIKKE (or just a robot) or two in the future. So Pascal being playable is not that far-fetched.
