Wish 1: I wish I could understand any language spoken or written as if it were plain every day English. Wish 2: I wish for the ability to instantly repair most things that are broken.

I feel like having 3 chaotic but mild wishes would be more interesting, such as wishing for spiders to be able to fly, or perhaps for everyone in the world to only have warm sides of the pillow or maybe even for everyone to always have the feeling of needing to sneeze but never being able to.
