    Yeah, pretty much like the youkai still hunting people
    for food... or the people hunting them down and killing
    (=/= exterminating) them for that.

    I think they are, ZUN's fond of glossing over the less than unpleasant parts of various Youkai on top of his fast and loose take on them.
