The in-progress photos prove that it isn't, but this really looks like AI. Just the little things about how the extremities are drawn.
Hands and feet are just difficult to draw correctly; it's not an AI thing. Either way, AI-generated images usually have a recognizable style and artifacts, and this is pretty far from that.
