    Fan art of a scene from the book: Devastation of Baal by Guy Haley.
    Lord Commander Dante is brought Back from the brink of Death and brought to meet the Primarch of the Ultramarines and his Indomitus Crusade.

    An anachronistic detail in this painting: When Dante first met Guilliman, Mephiston was still trapped inside the Cruor Mountain. He would not be rescued days after the event in the painting.

    Also, that is a Sanguinary Guard in the background. After the battle for Baal, there was only one Sanguinary Guard who survived.

    Perhaps it's historic revisionism by Imperial artists?
