I'm pretty sure he was the one who did some of the official art, I think he might have done the character designs as well.

Yeah. Mogudan (Azumi Yakinobu, I think his real name is) slightly altered his style around the same time he started actually drawing necks instead of hiding them behind capes and armour and collars. He did this, Brave Soul and "something golden something" I forget the name of it. His H stuff has gotten more exaggerated with each product.
Actually, I'm wondering if I was the one who uploaded a lot of the novel arts. I had all of them (-1) around that time and would frequent his and Ichiro Sakaki's (author) websites.
perverse and disturbing? i can't believe i'm hearing such words associated with him. there are a lot of things out there in this hentai community that can qualify as perverse and disturbing. his drawings definitely are not one of them.
In comparison does not make it less so. Especially compared to his early works, where women were tall, athletic, and well proportion. Now they're all ridiculious fat and frequently attacked by dirty old men.
why does he need to keep them well proportioned? i still don't see how this makes it perverse and disturbing. he's made himself known for making pics of girls with big breasts, complaining about it is like complaining about a loli artist for making lolis. i don't know where you got the fat part from either, they still have the athletic build it's just that they have huge breasts. plus the dirty old men thing is a hentai cliche, it's used almost all the time.
well that was a really long time ago and when he was starting out. even during those times he was working with someone else on those i believe. he's bound to make his own style later on. even then it's not so much of a drastic change from what he did back then either. those Rei doujins he made before have the same resemblance to what he's doing now. the argument he's making just makes it seem more like he has something against that particular fetish.
