If I'm not mistaken, they stopped selling 'coz the publisher are afraid that if they were actually selling "child pornography". Yeah, I know that there was actually no loli in skimpy outfit in there, but they are worried about getting caught by the law.

There's also the pragmatic reason that they just can't recoup their losses.
