This is Aphelion, the beginning of a space series I'd like to do. This was a huge project for me, from creating the nebulas and planets to getting the right rust colors for my spacecraft.

This piece is in 4K Ultra High Def (8.8 megapixels), and is 4096x2160.

The final file size of the .psd is 385 Mb, with a total of 303 layers.

All work completed in Photoshop CS6 for Mac.
