Are you kidding me? DYRL is one of my favorite entries on the whole Macross franchise. :D So, of course I'm familiar with the mad piloting skills of both Max and Millia.
However, that information is only evident for those familiar with the Anime / Movie; anyone unfamiliar with them would not immediately recognize this is the prelude to an epic battle.
