    Mmm, checking the link indicated by the artist, I see that "Novella" is more common in Valencia than in Catalonia, an incidence of 749 vs. 370; and in fact, as a word it is more familiar to me as a Valencian than as a Catalan. Perhaps the author has confused both autonomies....
