Graveyard Trespasser

A drawing that reinterprets the artwork for the Magic the Gathering card "Graveyard Trespasser" in my own style. A woman with black shaggy shoulder-length hair over one eye stands in a snowy graveyard, surrounded by damaged tombstones. Her shoulders are slumped, her white shirt dotted with tears and holes, and she stares directly at the viewer, tongue hanging out, sharp upper teeth visible, and a snaking cloud of steamy breath exhaling from her mouth. Powder snow settles in her black hair. In the far distance, the silhouettes of a church, an iron fence and a naked tree branch can be seen.

I was really into MTG for awhile, and I played a mono-black deck where Graveyard Trespasser was a killer card. She's as fun to play as she is annoying to play against. I got out of Magic when keeping up with standard got to be too much of a grind, but I still think it's really cool. Maybe I'll get back into it again someday in the future.
