I was so bad at drawing apples that I almost threw my tablet away. Hey all.
It's been a day since the last post, but I've thought of some additional notes about the unhelpful making-of tutorial in the previous article, so here's a quick note:
How to add shadows
When adding shadows to a picture, I have three patterns in mind:
(1) A pattern for drawing shadows
(2) A pattern for drawing light areas
(3) A pattern for painting light areas and dark areas separately
I use these three patterns and mix them together when drawing.
(By the way, for this drawing I used technique (2).)
Even if you use the same colors, the impression of the finished product is very different, so it's fun to try different things!
