Artist commentary isn't irrefutable, but neither is it meaningless. If the artist says it's Seth then we tag Seth. This isn't ambiguous like the previous case.

People who are looking for Seth/Jane Doe, Seth/Zhu Yuan, or Seth/Jane Doe/Zhu Yuan art would want this to turn up in their searches.

Can you tell who it is from the image alone without the deleted tweet? If we are talking artist intent he did delete it immediately and makes no mention of Seth in the dialogue.

So we can only use what we can see. There is nothing in the image that confirms the identity of the male. It is literally just a penis.

@QueriesAsk Tag warring is one thing, but don't vandalize the commentary. It doesn't matter that the tweet this image is from is deleted, that commentary is still the commentary that was present at the original source this image is from. Do not delete it.

I removed it because it can cause people to incorrectly tag both this and the other image which had no commentary. It wasn't vandalism. I was being proactive with it to prevent confusion.

All of the posts you've been arguing about have commentary. And artist commentary describing things conflicting with our tagging practices is never a good reason to remove it.

I gave you last case because it was considerably more ambiguous but it's clear to me that you're just being a straight idiot about the tagging here, even going as far as to vandalise the fucking post (tag warring and removing artist commentary). The next time you pull a stunt like this I'm going straight to giving you a negative feedback. "Mistagging" (which did not happen here) is not an excuse to remove artist commentary or tag war. Table this to a forum discussion instead of taking matters into your own hands if you need clarification or otherwise need to have a lengthy discussion.

Tags are just as much for searching as they are to clearly define elements of the image that are visible. In last case, I decided to uphold your tag removal because some users may also want to find Wise with those three characters. The same does not apply here. Cut it out.

And I was under the impression that insulting other members is against ToS of the site. So can we please stay civil here? I’m just don’t see how both cases are different when both cases are external information being used to tag the work.

And I don’t care who the male is in the image, I just want the tag to be accurate. And the image just has a penis in it. How is that enough to identify the male without outside information.

If the artist says the person is Seth, it is Seth. It is that simply and we have out_of_frame tag for that specific reason. Every commentary counts from the artist and you have to respect their decision(s). If there was no specific commentary whatsoever about the character, then obviously the tag would not be added, which is NOT the case in this one, deleted or not. We have applied this for many cases, it has been like this since forever and there are no exceptions. We do not care how much you dislike the character, just stop with this ridiculous vandalism and behaviour. It is getting extremely tiresome at this point. If you continue this ridiculous behaviour, you will get a negative as well from me. Consider this a first warning, not only by me, but my many others as well.
