Panty's hair was green when she was in "angel mode" so to speak in the last episode.

Both she and Stocking were shifted to a blue-green color. So yes: It's Panty.

I mean, really, am I the only one who doesn't count the ending as a real ending? This is a show that once had them become zombies and eat Garterbelt. Not to mention all the logic errors in the idea of Stocking being a demon.

Majority of first season was fixated on Panty. It'll be refreshing if she's not gonna be in seaquel.
Then again, they might bring her back for the last battle, or something...

Indeed, the show is way too crazy to not expect everything, from totally forgetting the epilogue to not making second season at all))

So did nobody here catch the end of the OST where Panty was talking about a second season. Though at the same time, she did claim they will go up to one-hundred seasons.... so there is that.

Gainax is finally going all the way in their "tribute" to Ghostbusters by giving Brief's a working Proton Pack, and Ecto Goggles? Sign me up for Season 2.
