Now that I think about it? Has anyone in the 40k universe ever tried time-travel? You'd think with their kind of advanced science/pseudo magic they could pull it off.

Every time they travel the Warp, there is a slight chance of time travel. This has led to stable paradoxes, like a ship answering its own future distress call only to land in the middle of an enemy fleet. Deliberate time travel is a much more esoteric practice, and the Ordo Chronos stomps it flat, from what we can tell. Only a handful of daemons have been seen doing something like it.
