I hope the original art was done ironically... Surely no one would do that seriously for the sake of "inclusion".

Honestly feels less like an honest attempt at making WH40K diverse and inclusive and more like a /pol/tard mocking the concept of such attempts. Kind of like a reverse Poe's Law.
That "art" looks like it was drawn by someone who has no idea of the lore of 40k but only it's negative stereotype but tried to make it diverse, unaware that 40k is already diverse despite it's grim dark setting (the Imperium is LGBT friendly, treats both genders equally and accepts troops of many races and nationalities (as long as your not a Xeno or Chaos worshiper)).
