well, we are now in the year 2025. here's the drawing i had prepared for the occassion
the visuals of fireworks at sea was something I think I'd read in a book long ago, where essentially warships of some kind were rigged to fire them for a show. that's probably what's going on here
while the new year day itself is "just another day," these kinds of days are important because they serve as a sort of collective landmark for time. over time I guess it's easy to fall into a cycle, and everything starts to blend into each other. we need these landmarks to have something to look at and remember. I probably needed a reminder of this myself. there's a number of things I would like to improve in my life as a whole, and it kinda really just depends on me fixing sm stuff. art will continue to be an outlet for some of the general feelings. I've recently had a stronger desire to once again make an OC or smth as a representative for myself, so perhaps that will actually happen this year finally
so with that, let's do the best we can in the upcoming year. face any difficulties coming our way. let's see how things turn out in another year from now huh
