Sanae could just ditch Kogasa and go to the hotsprings herself, like Kogasa did earlier. Though, I guess Yukari and company are Kogasa's group of friends.

Speaking of which, what happened to Sanae's ragtag friends (Reimu and Marisa) Shame they disappeared after the whole America trip.

The doujin works are probably just side work. Their main source of income probably comes from assisting larger manga companies. Shame too, the artist seems really capable, being able draw fully colored strips everyday.
