Okuu's attack wouldn't have a chance of succeeding if Mokou had ever learned the Perfect ⑨ Defense (or in this case, ⑥) demonstrated by Reimu here: post #628788. Pity it's the only example of it I remember seeing on danbooru...

On a more serious note, I confess I'll be disappointed if Mokou wins it right here. Nothing has changed in how I want this match-up to end - I want Mokou and Koishi to win it - but to have the display of power, versatility and tactics shown by Okuu and Ran be so quickly negated by an overwhelming show of force from one member of the opposing team sells Okuu and Ran short.

Granted, if Koishi hadn't done what she does best earlier, the situation would be very different, but Mokou is being potrayed in a manner almost as dominating as Komachi and Yuugi all on her lonesome.

How much longer before the shield breaks?

I've always wanted to see mokou and okuu go at it, and this comic brought that to life. It didn't disappoint, either!

that said, GO OKUU!

I think Koishi and Mokou may win... basically, because of Koisi. once again, she was forgotten. If Utsuho wins here, Koishi will strike her while she's unawares. And she may stay unawares, since, While I love utsuho and all, she is admitably a bit dim, and may not be able to keep her attention on Koishi (hell, she barely could keep her attention on her opponents in Th 12.3)

Go, Okuu! You can do it!

As much as I like Mokou, Okuu has always been my favorite character, and right now she has that determined look in her eyes that makes me want to cheer her on.
