Gods have become trivialized to the point that people wear them as fashion accessories. Remilia, on the other hand, is a noble apex predator far more powerful than humans. Or at least, she was. Now, the powers that belonged to devils are known as science, and her noble life of luxury has become a cheap commodity that anyone can buy. It’s almost as if humans have become partial vampires.
