Howdunit...how did the perp do it?
Whodunit...who is the perp that did it?
Since pinpointing what kind of supernatural phenomenon mages can cause is difficult, it's useless to think about these two questions.
But "whydunit" is an exception.
After all, mages certainly never lie...
