本图是我为 Krita 绘制的启动图之一，在 4.3 至 4.4 的版本中使用。

这张启动图的灵感来自莫奈的《睡莲》系列作品，在构图中强调倒影中的天空。莲出淤泥而不染的典故也是构思的一部分，反映了 Krita 采用的 GPL 自由软件许可证。彩色的涟漪代表的是 Krita 拾色器中的色相环。

我为这一版的 Kiki 准备了一套当时流行的机能风 (Techwear) 的服装。

这一张图从头到尾全部使用 basic-5 size 默认笔刷绘制，刻意去除了笔触的影响，并使用了非常有限的颜色种类，可以看作是一次色彩构成训练。

这张图是我个人特别喜欢的一张 Krita 启动图。尝试不同颜色和构图的过程非常有趣，而且这也是我经过多年的低谷期后第一次画出自己也认为好看的作品。

This is the splash art I created for Krita version 4.3. It was in use up to version 4.4.

The picture was inspired by Claude Monet’s Waterlilies series. I emphasized the sky reflection in the water. Waterlilies and Lotus are symbolic plants in Chinese culture for being virtuous even in the most corrupted circumstances — they grow in the sludge under the water, but that doesn’t affect their flowers being clean. This quality reflects Krita’s free software philosophy and the GNU GPL license it uses. The colorful ripples stand for Krita’s color picker ring.

In this version, Kiki has a Techwear style costume that I designed earlier.

This picture was also supposed to be a color composition practice. Only a few colors were used, and they were all manually picked. I used no gradient or blending. The picture was created from beginning to the end using only Krita’s “basic-5 size” default brush. By eliminating texture from the brush, it helped me to see clearer the color relationships.

This picture is a personal favorite. I had fun with the experimentation of colors, and It was a breakthrough for me to be able to finally create something appealing after a very long low period.
