I dunno about "hotter," but "magnitudes less likely to make me go 'eugh'" is certainly true.

This outfit is more proper for actual fighting in my opinion.

I'm not sure if the top is made of leather, but it seems to provide better protection against abrasive surface/objects, just like a motorcycle outfit.

The bottom skirt provides more protection for the thighs. Much better than the miniskirt of her original outfit.
