Makes me wonder why none of them ever try learning martial arts for real. Heartcatch had an episode about Blossom and Marine trying to learn, but they gave it up at the end of the episode (even though Sunshine is a real martial artist), and they recently had an episode like that in Suite Precure, but again they give it up at the end of the episode (though, to be fair, ever since Fresh Pretty Cure the Cures have been slowly moving away from the emphasis on DBZ-esque fighting and more towards standard magical girl stuff, which I guess is cheaper to animate, though Heartcatch had some pretty good fight scenes to its credit).
