All I know is that a high-explosive shell fired from point-blank range is somehow the only solution.

*takes out Colt .45 with the words "A Light Shining in Darkness" engraved in latin on it* I don't know, and quite frankly I don't want to know.

You (and she) might be interested in the XM109: 25mm high-explosive rounds fired from a modified Barrett M82. I'd rather take my chances with recoil "beyond human limitations" than with whatever that is, 'cause it sure as hell doesn't look friendly...

At first I thought this was from some unknown (to me) sequel of Yume Nikki.

It's in the car out back, two rifles and two magazines per piece, five rounds each.
When firing, brace the bipod firmly, and grip the weapon tight. Aim using the scope, at this range there should be no need for zeroing beforehand. Target the head, then the center of mass. Wear ear protection, and make sure the girl is behind the muzzle before firing. Have a clear line-of-sight downrange or a proper backstop, the effective range of this beast is well over a kilometer. Good hunting, people!

Also have the medics ready, there's a reason the Army abandoned it. And I quoted the reason verbatim.
