For some reason I thought Beurling and Tomoko were an item... I guess not... though maybe she spends so much time being pursued by Haruka and Giuseppina she doesn't have time for Beurling...
On that; Is Beurling-Elma just a ship-pair? Or is there actually some truth to it in the novels/background? I've seen several images with that pairing, so I was wondering.

Beurling does get into Tomoko's bed once, but I think that's the only case where Tomoko doesn't get 'shot down'. I believe there's also some speculation that Wilma Bishop is her ex.
